Knock on wood: everything is going swimmingly since Ollie and Lina Shapiro made their grand appearances in the wee hours of Saturday morning. And let me tell you: even though there are two of them, so far it’s been easier than when we brought our first-born home nearly seven years ago

I think I’m also starting to get the hang of paternity leave, even if my wife would like me to “work” even less. (I’ve mainly been catching up on video of the Federalist Society lawyers convention panels I missed last week.) And so, herewith, the lightest-text Shapiro’s Gavel post I’ll likely ever have, featuring the third and fourth amendments to the Shapiro family!
